Help Please! Navy Portrait, but Which War?
This is a photo I scanned while at my mom's a few weeks ago. I know which part of my family it came from, but I'm having trouble identifying which war this young man served in. If I can figure that out, hopefully I can identify him.
Can anyone tell me which war this young man fought in. Thanks in advance!

U.S. Navy? The photo paper looks like something from the era of WW1, and I think the uniform does as well. This coming from someone who googled it and really knows nothing about Navy uniforms. :)
ReplyDeleteI appreciate your thoughts! I tried Googling, too. I'm also trying to join a Facebook group that deals with military & genealogy, but haven't been accepted yet. Maybe someone there will have some expertise!
